Today was not tremendously interesting except for ten galahs for breakfast, not to mention umpteen king parrots. Dave keeps trying to get a photo of the parrots but they will not come close enough. We have been re-packing for our trip to Heron Island, the Caernarvon Gorge and all points outback with John and Anne so have nothing exciting to report. We did pick up the hire car today, and Dave drove back from central Brisbane while I cringed in the passenger seat not reading the map at all well. He really is very good at driving in strange places. We will be on the road for the next few days so updates will be few and far between until we hit a wifi broadband connection.
Just back from UK. Dubai seems awfully hot. Just caught up with your blog certainly beats postcards. So glad you are having such a good time. Shelagh xx
